🖊️ Declan Davey - Health Copywriter & Content Strategist
📈 I say ''yes'' to health brands that want to grow in the next 6 months
Does this health copywriter have red carpet photos? Nope.
Fake gold awards & trophies? Nada.
But it doesn’t matter…
Because you’re more interested in the nitty-gritty of how I can help your business.
Imagine if you could…
Make complex health and medical topics engaging for your audience, so they’re impressed and inspired by your content.
Give your brand messaging a unique personality, so your product/service stands out from the crowd.
Show your passion and expertise through the power of careful word choice and placement.
Well…
Hey, I’m Declan.
5+ years spent working for NHS healthcare clinics.
BSc Psychology and former mental health therapist.
3 years’ personal experience with a chronic illness.
Turns out this is a pretty useful background when copywriting for health and wellness brands!
But let’s stop here for a second…
Do you want to skip the rest and get in touch using an easy-peasy contact form?
I hear ya!
A professional background suited to health copywriting…
I’ve had experience working with a range of health services and charities.
Author of two books.
Although I love the challenge of producing copy as a health copywriter, I’m not picky.
I’ve self-published a suspense novel and enjoy many different kinds of writing.
Case in point:
Back in ’07, I was the kind of teen who wrote poetry that was what I’d call ‘‘deep’’ and you’d call ‘‘cringe-worthy.’’
Probably with Radiohead playing in the background. Ahh… good times!
And this is who I actually am:
The name’s Declan Davey. (As mentioned, formally I’m Thomas Andrew Declan Davey, but nobody’s got time for that)
Chronic illness warrior since 2017 (late-stage Lyme disease isn’t exactly a walk in the park)
Lover of innovative health products and services (partly for reasons of self-interest!)
Realist optimist (I look at the bright side, but with a sturdy pair of shades on)
Just a person trying to make it through life with a cool story to tell by the end (aren’t we all?)
What do you think so far?
We’ll do just fine working together, as long as you don’t mind a little dry humour sprinkled in with the seriously good business we’ll be getting on with.
Here’s my work process in a nutshell:
