60 Seconds on Blog Promo Emails
Don’t you find it funny how blogging and email seem to have been around for like, forever…
Yet they STILL remain two of the biggest revenue pullers in the wacky world of marketing?
Sure, there are YouTube videos, SMS messages, Instagram ads, etc…
All can work.
But I gotta say, I love blogs and emails the most.
Why?
Well, emails are great for building curiosity and telling stories…
And blogs are awesome for going deep on a topic and get the juicy details.
Brought together?
Pure gold for health and wellness businesses (or any business for that matter).
The difference, though, between regular emails and blog promo emails, is this…
While more sales-focused emails may need to do the heavy lifting to really hype up your products, that’s not the aim of the game for blog promo emails.
ALL you need to concentrate on is:
1) Getting the reader to click the link that takes them through to the blog
2) Making the email content congruent with what the reader will see on the blog page
For example, if the blog article is titled:
“5 of The Most Important Leg Exercises to Do to Develop Your Thigh Muscles.”
Then the corresponding email that promotes it could have this subject line and link text:
“5 leg exercises to make people jealous of your thighs!”
Generating plenty of intrigue…
And making it almost impossible NOT to click for subscribers who have an interest in this topic (presuming they do, otherwise why would you write a blog post about it haha).
Blog promo emails are one of the best ways to make money from your website store.
Your email links to the blog. And your blog features links to products on your store that relate to the topic of the blog post.
Once the workflow is in line, making sales is just too easy.
Thanks for stopping by!
