Let's dive in.

x1 Video to Learn About Viral Writing

I've shared this YouTube video with friends:

Viral Writing 101

57 minutes well spent listening to Dickie Bush, Nicolas Cole, and Shaan Puri. You'll know the latter if you listen to the My First Million podcast. These clever guys know viral writing like the back of their hands.

In particular, the "this just happened" angle stood out to me... don't be surprised if you see me try this out in a forthcoming post!

My LinkedIn post engagement has increased by x3-6 since I began posting in February. This is without anything going truly viral yet. Not banking on this, of course, as most of it is out of my control. But it's useful to have tested templates to turn to for ideas.

x2 Tips on LinkedIn Hooks and The Future of Freelancing

A couple of highlights from my recent posts.

1) Freelancers have gotten by with crappy outreach and Upwork gig pitches in the past. The future of freelancing looks different. Here's how to win.

Helpful if you want to learn about:

positioning, outreach, personal branding

2) You have three lines of copy to stop readers from scrolling. Check out this simple framework to nail those first three lines.

Helpful if you want to learn about:

writing hooks, creating on LinkedIn

x3 Content Nuggets That Got My Attention

1) If you're feeling fatigued by copywriting and marketing books, here's an "off the beaten track" suggestion.

When copywriters start out, they turn to books such as Breakthrough Advertising and The Ultimate Sales Letter. But learning screenwriting is a craft that could take your writing skills to the next level. See Cain's post above for more context.

2) There's a lot of nonsense out there about earning income online. Forget that noise. Try this instead.

Justin makes building digital products less intimidating. We often overcomplicate the process. Where I go wrong: "if I create another product, it has to be a beautifully edited 3-hour course." This way of thinking ends up paralyzing me. It's time to simplify.

3) Creative work from home productivity hacks for freelancers

These 10 practical tips from Blessing will give your work performance a boost. I bet you can try one of them tomorrow.

Thank you for stopping by.

Now, it's time for a cup of tea ☕️
